RegTech for Regulators Accelerator
As Chief Technologist at the RegTech for Regulators Accelerator (R²A) from 2016 to 2020, I led the development and deployment of innovative Supervisory Technology (SupTech) solutions aimed at modernizing financial supervision and policy analysis. My role involved collaborating with financial authorities in countries such as Mexico, the Philippines, and Ghana to co-create and pilot cutting-edge tools that enhanced regulatory capabilities .
I was instrumental in the design and implementation of several key initiatives, including the development of the "DataStack," a data and technology blueprint for financial supervision and innovation . Additionally, I contributed to the creation of an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) toolkit and a chatbot and processing utility for customer complaints, which were successfully deployed in various jurisdictions . Through these efforts, I helped bridge the gap between technology vendors and regulatory bodies, fostering a collaborative environment that accelerated the adoption of digital solutions in financial supervision.
