LDLN

As Co-Founder and CEO of LDLN (pronounced 'Landline'), I led the development of an open-source, off-grid communications platform designed to enable real-time data sharing in environments without internet, cellular, or satellite connectivity. Our technology empowered humanitarian organizations, emergency responders, and government agencies to coordinate disaster relief efforts efficiently, even in the most challenging conditions.

Under my leadership, LDLN introduced a portable, battery-powered base station that formed the backbone of a decentralized mesh network. This infrastructure supported secure, encrypted data synchronization across mobile devices, facilitating the exchange of critical information such as medical emergencies, infrastructure damage, and resource allocation. Our platform was utilized in various disaster response scenarios, including Superstorm Sandy in New York City and Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, demonstrating its effectiveness in real-world applications.

Additionally, I represented LDLN at prominent events such as the White House Innovation and Demo Day, where we showcased our technology to federal agencies and potential partners. Through strategic partnerships and field demonstrations, I helped position LDLN as a trusted solution for off-grid communication needs, contributing to the advancement of disaster resilience and response capabilities globally.
