2025 Highlights

• AI in Financial Services: Featured panelist at AI & Finance Conference 2025, a featured event of a16z NY Tech Week, diving deep into the future of AI innovation.

• Global Regulatory Forums: Led facilitation sessions for the Gates Foundation and the Center of Excellence in Finance (in partnership with International Monetary Fund), driving conversations on inclusive finance, AI and digital transformation.

• Global Technology Forums: participated as an invited member of the United Nations Open Source Program Offices (OSPOs) For Good conference as part of UN Open Source Week 2025.

• Engaged with top U.S. regulators at FDIC and CFPB in Washington, D.C., contributing to critical dialogues (note: some events were canceled in light of the shifting US policy).

2024 Highlights

• Headlined and facilitated sessions at SupTech Week 2024 and the World Economic Forum, spotlighting digital consumer protection and AI in central banking.

• Served as speaker, judge, and facilitator at the AI in Central Banking Conference — shaping standards and governance frameworks for tomorrow’s financial systems.

• Participated in cutting-edge innovation seminars hosted by Fintech Open Source Foundation, the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA), ECB Infinity, and EU-SDFA, exploring data-driven supervision and regulatory technologies.

• Contributed expert panels at the Africa 3i Summit, Japan Fintech Festival, and the Financial Stability Board on AI’s role in regulatory compliance.

2023 Highlights

• Delivered six dynamic panels at SupTech Week 2023, addressing topics from algorithmic fairness and AI ethics to the evolving landscape of digital supervisory infrastructure.

• Keynote speaker at major trainings like Practical Data Science in Financial Supervision and Supervisor of the Future: SupTech Frontiers, along with the EU-SDFA program and trainings, engaging audiences on the future of supervisory and regulatory technology.

• Participated in strategic roundtables at the Bank for International Settlements, RegTech Association, and RegTech DC, shaping policy discussions around emerging technologies.

• Supported innovation with hands-on leadership in hackathons hosted by Bank of Ghana and the AIR Tech Challenge.

• Launched growth toolkits for inclusive, growth stage, fintech startups focused on digital commerce in emerging markets.

2022 & Earlier

• Participated in technical roundtables such as Amazon Web Services’ New Climate Economy.

• Presented at RegTech Australia, shared ESG insights with GIZ, participated in elite academic and industry forums including MIT Legatum Center, Columbia SIPA and CBS (with resulting citations), and WiMLDS Nairobi, and informed policy change via the FDIC Subcommittee on Supervision Modernization.

• Engaged in pioneering AI research conferences such as CVPR and Data Science Nigeria with deep learning leaders, presented open source frameworks for inclusive finance at the African Fintech Festival, and participated in visionary roundtables including the White House, the Bank for International Settlements Innovation Gallery, and the Brookings Institute’s Financial and Digital Inclusion Project and resulting report.

• Launched mobile money’s next chapter with the GSMA, exploring how to go beyond payments and remittances to enable inclusivity and operational resilience

• Spoke alongside friend and Nobel Laureate Maria Ressa to discuss unlocking of human and community potential for positive social change.

• Series of interviews highlighting LDLN’s potential and real impact in addressing post-disaster relief and pre-disaster preparedness
