Hi, I’m Matt!

I’m a technology leader with over 20 years of experience leading teams and developing double bottom line solutions that produce profits while serving the public good. I’m currently living the dream as Co-Founder of GovSpace, produced under my direction as CTO at Digital Transformation Solutions. I also serve on several AI and technological working groups, advisory boards and industry groups.

Previously I have enjoyed roles as Co-Director and Co-Founder of the Cambridge SupTech Lab, Director of Inclusive Fintech at impact innovation firm BFA Global, and the inaugural Portfolio Engagement Manager and Technology Lead for the Catalyst Fund's inclusive fintech and inclusive digital commerce startup accelerators, where we facilitated growth of 60+ startups, unlocking US$640M+ in follow-on investment. I was co-founder and CTO at Bytemark, digitally transforming mass transit through patented tech, co-creation of ISO ticketing standards, and acquisition by Siemens Mobility.

My focus is on using innovative, data-driven technologies to solve social challenges, improve access to services, and support the public sector. Whether it's fintech, data science, or digital transformation, I work to ensure that technology can be a force for positive, scalable change, particularly for vulnerable communities.

Throughout my career, I’ve collaborated with organizations focused on social impact and public service, always with the goal of making technology more accessible and practical for those who need it most. I specialize in creating solutions that drive efficiency, equity, and accessibility in public sector systems, and I’m committed to advancing the greater good through digital innovation.
