State of SupTech Report 2024

Cambridge SupTech Lab · Dec 31, 2024

The State of SupTech Report 2024 is the global benchmark for understanding how financial authorities adopt and scale supervisory technology. This third edition draws on data from 136 financial authorities, 23 suptech solution providers, and a longitudinal sample of 221 agencies across 144 jurisdictions. It provides evidence on evolving suptech maturity, integration practices, and effectiveness across multiple supervisory domains. The report highlights a shift from experimental to systemic deployment, examines challenges around procurement, data management, and AI readiness, and captures the emergence of a tipping point where suptech becomes core to supervision. With case studies, survey insights, and deep-dive analytics, it serves as a strategic guide for agencies, multilateral organisations, and technologists working to strengthen financial oversight through innovation.
